The Analyst, Data Management supports the WKO Data & Reporting team by executing data extraction, reporting, and analysis tasks under the guidance of senior team members. The role offers the opportunity to learn and grow technical skills across OSKAR, EDH, and other WKO data stores while contributing to audit-ready operational, regulatory, and executive reporting. The Analyst gains exposure to AI/ML concepts and modern platforms such as Databricks as learning opportunities, bringing an eagerness to learn and a commitment to contributing to team deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the creation and maintenance of reports and dashboards using Tableau, QlikView/Qlik Sense, and SAP BusinessObjects under senior guidance.
- Write and maintain SQL queries and assist with Python scripts and Alteryx workflows for data extraction and transformation.
- Assist with data engineering tasks in Databricks and support data pipeline maintenance.
- Support AI/ML initiatives by preparing datasets, validating model outputs, and documenting results under senior team direction.
- Collaborate with team members to gather reporting requirements and ensure timely delivery of recurring and ad-hoc reports.
- Maintain data quality documentation, assist with lineage tracking, and support audit-readiness efforts across WKO data stores.
- Help identify and escalate data quality issues; contribute to remediation efforts and process documentation.
- Assist in automating manual reporting tasks and reducing redundant data sources under team guidance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is required; qualified Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management or a related field is a preference
- 2+ years’ experience with an experience in Applied AI, Data & transformation, Business Analytics experience is key. Focus in the Applied AI / Data Analytics space highly preferred
- Foundational proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Oracle; working knowledge of Python, SAP BusinessObjects, or SQL Developer is a plus.
- Familiarity with Tableau, Alteryx, or QlikView/Qlik Sense; exposure to Databricks or cloud-based analytics platforms is a plus.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and willingness to learn and apply emerging data technologies.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset with the ability to follow structured processes.
