As a Product Manager in Wholesale Credit Risk, you will lead the strategy, discovery, and delivery of next-generation products that enable and improve credit risk processes. You will work with cross-functional partners to understand user needs, define a clear product vision, and prioritize a roadmap that delivers value. You will use metrics to guide decisions, support agile delivery, and ensure features are released to specification and on schedule. You will also help strengthen governance and continuous improvement for the products you own.
Job responsibilities
Partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand use cases, pain points, and market trends
- Translate business needs into clear product vision, strategy, and outcomes-focused roadmaps
- Lead discovery efforts and market research to identify customer solutions and inform prioritization
- Collaborate with solution architects and technologists to influence technical approaches and product design
- Define success metrics and analyze performance to guide product decisions and trade-offs
- Drive delivery with developers, designers, analytics, and product specialists across multiple teams
- Facilitate agile ceremonies and coordinate release management activities within an agile and scrum model
- Deliver product demonstrations and run product review and feedback sessions with key stakeholders
- Ensure new features meet specifications, ship on schedule, and issues are remediated in a timely manner
- Conduct governance reviews with sponsors and stakeholders to support alignment and decision-making
- Develop and execute plans for continuous service improvement across the product lifecycle
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7 years of relevant experience in product management, product development, or a related role
- Proficiency in process re-engineering or similar process improvement methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting and editing executive-level communications
- Demonstrated ability to lead, build consensus, and deliver in a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships across functions
- Intellectual curiosity, initiative, and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using data analysis and metrics to drive product decisions
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional products, programs, or projects with multiple stakeholders
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience within a large financial services firm
- Foundational domain knowledge in credit risk
- Experience partnering with technology and user experience teams and discussing technical designs
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Agile Practitioner (CSP)
