As a Senior Director of Infrastructure Architecture at JPMorganChase within the infrastructure platform you lead across multiple areas while bridging the gap between business and technical domains to ensure the execution of complex initiatives. Manage cross-functionally to drive the design and implementation of new infrastructure technologies to aid the firm in remaining at the forefront of industry trends, best practices, and technological advances.

Job responsibilities
  • Leads multiple infrastructure architecture process implementations across departments to achieve firmwide objectives
  • Directly manages multiple areas with strategic transactional focus
  • Provides leadership and high-level direction to teams while frequently overseeing employee populations across multiple platforms, divisions, and lines of business
  • Bridges the gaps with senior leaders, stakeholders, and executives to drive consensus across competing objectives
  • Manages multiple stakeholders, complex projects, and large cross-product collaborations
  • Be responsible for staffing, budget, and relevant profit and loss
  • Mentors and coaches junior architects and technologists
  • Champions the firm’s culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect for team members and prioritizes diverse representation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or related disciplines
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience. In addition, 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise
  • Experience developing and leading large and cross-functional teams of infrastructure architects
  • Experience leading complex projects supporting system design, testing, and operational stability
  • Experience hiring, developing, and recognizing talent
  • Extensive practical cloud native experience

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience working at the code level
