Established in 2002, GF&BM India has over 3,400 professionals across Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, supporting four main pillars of work: Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations, and Business Client & Products.

As an Analyst in the Consumer Banking – Branch Performance Reporting and Analytics team, you will support field performance reporting and analysis and work closely with senior business management leads based out of the US.

Job Responsibilities

  • Produce Business performance review materials, branch scorecard and decks to an audience that includes senior business management leads, Business Leaders heading various levels within the Branch network hierarchy.
  • Perform various BAU (Business Unit Reviews/OKRs and other reporting) and adhoc tasks related to branch scorecard and analytics.
  • Provide commentary and insights on business performance facilitating discussions on exceptions in trends and other focus areas and bringing the same to management attention.
  • Play a key role in conceptualizing and developing new reporting decks for tracking and driving performance around various field initiatives.
  • Support multiple ad hoc requests from the Business and Senior Management in line with their expectations. The adhocs range from understanding and commenting on trends in performance to deep dives that help provide insights to business about field performance including progress on key strategic initiatives.
  • Constantly look at opportunities to automate existing reports and inquisitiveness to improve efficiency is a plus.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • MBA (Finance) with 3+ years of post-qualification experience with specialized experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Finance, performance reporting and analytics, metric/business scorecards.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and partnering skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong team player and ability to work with various diverse finance and business management teams.
  • Ability to multi-task and work autonomously within team environment.
  • Ability to research issues/problems and provide a 'solution-based' approach.
  • Adaptable to change and ambiguity in the work environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong knowledge of Essbase

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Working knowledge of any data visualization and analytical tools e.g. Alteryx, Tableau will be good to have.
  • Knowledge of working with SQL or Python are good to have
