As a Escrow Sales within Liquidity and Account Solutions, you will lead client engagements to drive new business sales across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions, based in Jersey City, NJ. You’ll partner with attorneys, internal banking partners, private equity firms, and corporate clients to deliver tailored escrow solutions while commercializing current and future capabilities to increase average daily balances, revenues, and deal volume. You will own the end-to-end sales process, from opportunity identification through deal coordination and execution, while representing the product within your geographic coverage and deepening client relationships. Your role will also support broader business growth by acting as a liaison to the global Escrow team, bringing forward regional opportunities and insights on local market developments. Additionally, you’ll ensure transactions are executed in alignment with established risk controls through close collaboration with Sales Associates and the Wholesale KYC Operations team, including the timely completion of Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.

Job responsibilities

  • Deliver regional sales and revenue targets through close coordination with the Escrow team and key internal partners across Payments, Commercial Banking, Private Banking, Corporate Banking, and Investment Banking
  • Manage end-to-end client engagement activities, including sales planning, prospecting, client meetings, presentations, product training, and ongoing relationship management, while serving as the primary escalation point for client service issues within the assigned coverage
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with regional leadership and cross-functional product teams to ensure a coordinated approach to achieving sales objectives and delivering against client expectations
  • Lead and support ongoing product education and training initiatives for internal stakeholders to enhance market awareness and sales effectiveness
  • Negotiate fees, terms, conditions, and investment solutions for escrow transactions in partnership with product management, client service, and liquidity teams
  • Apply a thorough understanding of deal acceptance criteria to assess opportunities, mitigate risk exposure, and manage the end-to-end sales process, including KYC and client onboarding requirements, as well as CRM system updates
  • Collaborate with global colleagues and clients to develop and originate cross-border escrow solutions, with a focus on outbound opportunities
  • Serve as a local subject matter representative for escrow-related matters within the region, supporting internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify product capability gaps and local market requirements, and communicate insights to the product development team to support ongoing enhancement of offerings
  • Manage client communications and correspondence, including the preparation of marketing materials, follow-up communications, and client engagement collateral

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited university
  • 5+ years of experience in banking, cash management, and/or escrow services
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and position products to internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced relationship management skills, including the ability to engage confidently with senior clients, intermediaries, and internal leadership
  • Advanced analytical capabilities to assess market dynamics and develop targeted product strategies
  • Proficiency in client prospecting, relationship development, and sales execution across multiple channels
  • Proficiency in managing multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong client focus
  • Proficiency in cross-functional collaboration to achieve business objectives and deliver client outcomes
  • Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and escalating risk considerations in alignment with firm standards
  • Advanced critical thinking skills, with the ability to learn quickly and contribute to new business development initiatives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly learn internal systems and digital tools
