Business Banking - Credit Sr Associate

In this role, the Quality Control (QC) Associate will be part of Credit Governance program within the Chase Business Banking (BB) Risk Team to ensure compliance with regulations and Business Banking ( BB) & Firmwide policies/procedures.
Your role will be a combination of (1) Quality oversight of Credit Analysis & Reviews decisions by conducting regular quality checks to ensure adherence to published Risk Procedures & Requirements, (2) Creation, distribution, and oversight of various monitoring reports and (3) Oversight on various governance initiatives across the business. You are expected to possess a strong credit acumen, experience in reviewing / peer Quality Control and technical background including project management and reporting skills.
Responsibilities:
Quality Control associated with Credit Analysis & Reviews decisions and monitoring activities at Credit Officer / portfolio level
Quality Control tool (ACES) management and maintenance; preparing and maintaining Quality Control procedures
Identifying and highlighting error trends based on Quality Control results; drive training sessions to address heightened error rates
Report creation, distribution, and oversight of assigned risk monitoring tools and reports on a periodic basis
Lead governance initiatives across Business Banking to drive consistency across the Risk organization
Assist with preparation for internal and external reviews, audits, and examinations
Assist or coordinate projects and process improvements
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
More than 5 years of experience in Credit Analysis & Reviews, Risk Quality Control, Audit, Compliance or Risk Management
Knowledge of risk and control assessment process
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve measurable results
Skills & experience to manage targeted portfolios ( e.g. formal credit training, traditional lending products, treasury and cash management product knowledge, problem loan experience)
Bachelor's Degree required with a focus in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics preferred
Knowledge and experience with data management and reporting tools - Tableau, Alteryx, Excel, SAP, Snowflake preferred
Knowledge and experience with multiple programming languages - Excel, VBA preferred
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze large sets of data preferred
Familiarity with key Financial Institution regulations preferred
MBA or professional certification preferred
