As a Payment Lifecycle Analyst within Payments Operations, you will be directly responsible for the day to day operations, including transaction processing – payments and receivable; ecommerce payments; client service & and database controls. You will be responsible for understanding the key metrics and risk components and support the operations lead to meet the financial goals and objectives put forth by the LOB, while partnering globally with the regions where the business operations are located.

Job responsibilities
  • Process electronic and manual transactions and perform reconciliations.
  • Monitor transactions and ensure timely, accurate processing in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Implement and maintain robust controls and procedures to mitigate operational risks and prevent errors.
  • Mail correspondence to internal and external clients in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Tech, Relationship Manager, Treasury) to improve day-to-day operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Follow the escalation matrix for identified issues.
  • Assist with issue resolution and prepare incident reports in case of errors.
  • Identify team training and development needs to enhance skills and capabilities.
  • Serve as a backup for other departmental processes.
  • Perform product verification tests (PVTs) on the system as required.
  • Lead assigned process-improvement projects.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor's/ Post Graduate degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cash operations, payments processing, or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of payment processes, payment systems, and regulatory requirements in the APAC region.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including team management, coaching, and performance evaluation.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, optimize operational efficiency, and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Knowledge of ISO or Swift message processing or management.
  • Experience with operations, controls and problem solving related to Payments, Cash, Treasury Operations.
  • Experience in global payments and understanding of accounting and money movement processes.
