As an Annuity and Insurance Data Strategy Transformation Associate in the Annuity and Insurance Data Strategy Transformation team, you will drive modernization and synthesization of annuity and insurance data to enable an integrated Advisor and client experience across the broader JPMorganChase application ecosystem. You will define and design data-enabled solutions for annuity and insurance products, strengthen data quality and syndication frameworks, and deliver insights that support business decisions across U.S. Wealth Management, U.S. Private Bank, and International Private Bank. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning Product, Data Owners, Operations, and Technology, with a focus on execution, transparency, and measurable outcomes.
Job Responsibilities- Advance the annuity and insurance data strategy by scaling and optimizing product data implementation across client- and Advisor-facing applications.
- Partner with business leads, Data Owners, Operations, Product, and Technology to align on priorities, requirements, sequencing, and delivery plans.
- Define and design end-to-end, data-enabled solutions for annuity and insurance products within the broader JPMorganChase application ecosystem.
- Consolidate and interpret complex datasets into clear insights and narratives tailored to business leaders, clients, and Advisors.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, or similar tools) to track book of record, sales performance, and administrative metrics.
- Establish and strengthen data quality and control frameworks, including governance, monitoring, and data syndication to downstream consumers.
- Identify and drive AI-enabled opportunities to improve data processing efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and overall operating effectiveness.
- Manage data initiatives and roadmaps in partnership with Product Owner(s) and Data Owner(s), ensuring priority alignment and measurable execution.
- Lead delivery end-to-end, including timeline definition, milestone planning, dependency tracking, and on-time outcomes.
- Proactively manage risks and issues, escalating through the defined escalation matrix while maintaining clear, consistent stakeholder communication.
- Translate business needs into actionable requirements, balancing near-term deliverables with longer-term strategic objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in data- or product-focused roles.
- Intermediate Tableau experience (dashboard development and insight generation for stakeholders).
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights, narratives, and recommendations for senior audiences.
- Proven project/program delivery experience, including timeline management, milestone execution, dependency tracking, and risk management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience operating across a complex organization and multiple partner groups.
- Ability to work independently with strong initiative, energy, and confidence in ambiguous or fast-moving environments.
- Strong organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to understand business needs and connect data initiatives to measurable outcomes and strategic goals.
- Experience partnering with Operations and Technology teams to execute solutions across platforms and processes.
- MBA or post-graduate degree.
- Experience in financial services project/product management.
- Experience with annuities and/or life insurance products and related operating models.
- Experience with Alteryx or comparable data synthesis/workflow tools.
- Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing AI solutions that streamline data processing or improve data quality.
- Experience supporting cross-line-of-business stakeholders (e.g., U.S. Wealth Management, U.S. Private Bank, and/or International Private Bank).
