Join our Korea Global Corporate Banking team and play a key role in delivering a seamless client experience across lending, trade finance, and derivatives. You will build practical knowledge in credit documentation, stakeholder coordination, and risk and controls — making this an excellent stepping stone for your career in banking operations or client services.
As a Credit Documentation Analyst/Associate in Global Banking Client and Deal Support, you will serve as the primary contact for documentation and servicing matters across trade, loans, and foreign exchange clients in Korea. You will coordinate post-onboarding documentation, handle client and internal queries, and support post-deal activities from execution through to close. You will work closely with credit, legal, compliance, and operations teams to maintain accurate records, resolve documentation issues, and uphold a strong risk and controls framework.
Please note this is a 17-month fixed-term contract for maternity cover before applying.
Job responsibilities
- Coordinate legal and credit documentation across products, including populating standard templates and supporting the end-to-end documentation process.
- Act as a key point of contact to track documentation progress across onshore, offshore, and cross-border stakeholders, escalating delays and issues appropriately.
- Handle internal and client documentation queries in a timely manner and support post-deal closing activities, including document management.
- Prepare and circulate standard documentation templates and assist with non-standard requests in partnership with bankers, credit, legal, and operations teams.
- Track conditions, follow up on outstanding items, and maintain accurate handoffs, timelines, and key metrics.
- Support pipeline management and drive adoption of best practices across business and support functions.
- Proactively identify operational gaps, raise issues early, and support remediation within established procedures to maintain a strong risk and controls environment.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 2 year of experience in credit and transaction or operations management, or credit administration.
- Working knowledge of legal documentation for credit facilities.
- Strong analytical skills to identify risks and issues, develop solutions, and escalate in a timely manner.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and meticulous in managing client documentation.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in credit documentation, particularly within trade and loans.
- Experience in a client servicing role.
