As an Associate in the Client Service Team, you will be the primary point of contact for service-related needs of Private Bank clients. Working as part of an integrated team, you will support Bankers and Investors by partnering with product specialists and operations to deliver a seamless, end-to-end client experience across the full suite of Private Bank products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary contact with external clients and Integrated team for day-to-day account administration and servicing
  • Provide proactive personalized service on transaction processing such as deposits, loans, asset transfers, execution of cash products, cash flow management, corporate action, servicing inquiries and investigation handling etc
  • Assist Clients in all account maintenance related requests such as change of contact details, company and account structure update, KYC update and ensures all necessary documentation is processed in accordance with Bank’s standards
  • Outreach proactively to client for digital adoption
  • Assist Bankers in execution of credit facility, facilitates ad-hoc client requests, trouble shooting, and help drives any remediation or campaign that is required from Bank

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 6 years of Client Service / Relationship Management experience from Private Bank or Retail Banking
  • Basic working knowledge of Private Banking products including relevant operational processes on cash management, KYC document review, corporate action and banking products etc
  • High sensitivity to Banking Control Standards particularly those related to money transfers, securities transfer, credit, and any other transactional services
  • Good interpersonal skills on servicing and ability to maintain and deepen relationships
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English, good Cantonese and Mandarin, the role is required to support Chinese or English spoken clients in China and Hong Kong
  • Capable of interacting with clients directly and able to resolve client inquiries and trouble shoot problems independently
  • Knowledge of all relevant systems and software packages including Outlook, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and other information sources
  • HKMA type 1, 4, 9 certified are essential for performing the duties associated with this role and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards or fulfill the license requirement within 4 months upon employment

  • Knowledge of all relevant systems and software packages including e-mail, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint and other information sources
  • Fast paced, good teamwork, adaptable, multi-tasking and able to work in a demanding and unpredictable environment
  • Detail-oriented, think out of box and result-oriented
  • Strong sense in Artificial Intelligent (“AI”) and tech savvy candidate
