As a CRM Data Product Manager, you will take a hands-on, product-oriented approach to translating CIB Sales domain needs into governed, reliable data products with clear data contracts, SLAs, and measurable outcomes. You will partner with business, technology, data platform, analytics, and controls partners to deliver actionable insights and reusable data assets—including curated datasets, metrics layers, dashboards, marts, APIs, notebooks, and ML-ready data—that enable advanced analytics and AI/ML use cases.

The CRM Data Product team drives strategic data initiatives and tooling, data governance, reporting, and advanced performance analysis across Global Banking and Payments. This is a high-visibility role with direct engagement with senior stakeholders, focused on improving efficiency, performance, and business outcomes.

In this role, you will support the end-to-end lifecycle of data products by defining requirements, improving data quality and usability, and ensuring products are reliable, discoverable, and valuable for end users.

Job responsibilities

  • Gather and document business needs, user stories, and acceptance criteria for data products
  • Translate business questions into clear data requirements (definitions, grain, scope, SLAs)
  • Maintain and groom the product backlog; help prioritize work with the Product Manager/Lead
  • Coordinate sprint activities, assist with release planning, and track delivery milestones
  • Help define and monitor data quality rules (completeness, accuracy, timeliness, consistency)
  • Support issue triage and root-cause coordination for data incidents and defects
  • Contribute to data product documentation (business definitions, data dictionary, lineage notes)
  • Partner with engineers, analysts, and governance to align on definitions and controls
  • Communicate status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders
  • Deliver data products and insights through consumption channels (APIs/data services, SQL endpoints, dashboards, notebooks); design domain semantic layers for common Sales & Marketing analytics.
  • Apply governance and controls: stewardship, cataloging, lineage, entitlements; protect sensitive data with masking/tokenization/entitlements and regulatory compliance.
  • Engage stakeholders to prioritize use cases and communicate outcomes; partner with architecture/platform teams to leverage strategic capabilities.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance; advanced degree a plus.
  • 5+ years in data engineering and/or data product development in financial services with production delivery.
  • Proficiency: Product Thinking; Experience with Databricks/Snowflake; Data Products Buildout
  • Strong grasp of data governance, quality, compliance; experience enabling AI/ML workloads.
  • Familiarity with sales domains (deal lifecycle, client coverage, pipeline/execution, fee/revenue analytics).
  • Excellent communication; outcome-focused and hands-on.
