DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Responsible for financing services sales to large corporate clients, including the marketing and delivery of Lending, Payments, Markets, Financing and Corporate Financing products and solutions. Develop and manage client relationships to identify financial needs, propose tailored banking solutions, and drive revenue across the firm's financial services platform. Serve as the senior client relationship manager for a portfolio of the firm's most significant and complex clients, including publicly traded and private, investment-grade and non-investment-grade multinationals. Build and sustain trusted, senior-level relationships with Treasurers, CFOs, and other C-suite executives, positioning the firm as a strategic partner with Chemicals, Autos, and Industrials clients. Originate, structure, and execute bilateral and syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, trade and working capital solutions. Partner closely with Investment Bank Coverage and Product Teams across Debt Capital Markets, Loans, Treasury Services, Liquidity, Merchant Services, Commercial Cards, FX, Derivatives, Commodities, Asset-Backed Securities, and Securities Services Working Capital Solutions to deliver integrated solutions tailored to client needs. Drive business growth and retention by executing against revenue and profitability goals with full accountability for portfolio performance. Leverage industry expertise to anticipate client needs, stay ahead of market trends, and identify innovative solutions that enhance the firm's competitive positioning. Manage client profitability by allocating capital and resources efficiently, ensuring optimal risk-adjusted returns. Lead cross-border client discussions and coordinate global delivery of sophisticated banking solutions across regions and business lines. Collaborate with internal partners across functions and geographies to present a unified approach to clients, while fostering teamwork and knowledge-sharing across the platform. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior bankers, supporting talent development and contributing to a high-performing team culture. Ensure disciplined risk management by adhering to AML, KYC, OFAC, and other regulatory and compliance standards; identify, escalate, and remediate potential risks or control issues promptly. Maintain the highest standards of integrity, accountability, and professional conduct in all client and internal interactions. Conduct effective, outcome-driven client and internal meetings, setting clear agendas and follow-up actions. This position requires up to 50% travel (domestic and international) to visit clients and JPMC regional offices across North America, Europe, Middle East, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Corporate Banker, Platform/Institutional Sales Manager, Institutional Business Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field of study plus ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or as Corporate Banker, Platform/Institutional Sales Manager, Institutional Business Developer, or related occupation. Experience can be gained pre- or post-Bachelor’s degree.
Skills Required: This position requires seven (7) years of experience with the following skills: managing and growing revenue for a portfolio of large corporate or institutional clients; developing and managing senior-level client relationships with Treasurer(s), Chief Financial Officer(s) (CFOs), or C-suite executives; leading strategic client dialogue with senior level client contacts; originating new business with clients across a global banking product platform including cash management and cross-border payments; liquidity and regional deposit structures; securities services; lending; foreign exchange; markets and asset management; selling corporate and investment banking products in international markets (ex-USA); understanding global banking regulations and compliance requirements including AML, KYC, Basel III/IV, and related frameworks; performing financial modeling and credit analysis including scenario analysis, stress testing, and peer benchmarking; leading cross-functional, global deal-teams comprised of technical and sales product partners, legal, compliance and credit functions to seamlessly execute client transactions; developing proposals, client pitches, and strategic recommendations; mentoring and developing junior bankers to enable career progression. This position requires knowledge of the following: Bank Lending; Capital Structure; Debt Capital Markets; Trade Finance; Foreign Exchange; Interest Rate Derivatives; Commodities; Global Treasury Services; Securities Services products including Global Custody and Securities Lending; and Asset Management products. Experience and knowledge can be gained pre- or post-Bachelor’s degree. This position requires the following licenses: FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE); FINRA Series 63; and either FINRA Series 79TO or FINRA Series 79.
Job Location: 270 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10017. This position requires up to 50% travel (domestic and international) to visit clients and JPMC regional offices across North America, Europe, Middle East, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific.
Full-Time. Salary: $260,000 - $350,000 per year.
