As a Product Manager, Vice President in Global Customer Platform, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
The Strategy & Communications Team shapes how GCP’s strategy is defined, aligned, and communicated, ensuring complex initiatives are translated into clear, cohesive narratives. You will drive strategic storytelling, strengthen stakeholder alignment, and equip teams with the tools and training needed to deliver consistent, high‑quality communications.
Global Customer Platform product is part of the Consumer Bank team and serves as the primary source of customer data for all lines of business across the firm.
Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Partners with senior leaders to develop clear, compelling, consistent messaging strategies that reflect the business vision through written and visual storytelling, enhancing leadership understanding, and driving product strategy
- Translates and communicates highly technical data-driven concepts into business-facing language
- Designs impactful slides and presentations to support executive narratives and speaking engagements
- Manages the development and distribution of internal communications, ensuring a consistent voice across all channels
- Partners across the firm to improve awareness of strategic objectives and business priorities
- Prepares briefing materials, presentations, and talking points, assisting teammates with presentations and speaking engagements to ensure a consistent voice of the Global Customer Platform (GCP)
- Manages Design Partners, convening the right stakeholders to co-prioritize where partners lean in, and demonstrate measurable value from the design relationship to strengthen and scale our platform
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Expertise in authoring executive communications
- Experience in agile methodology
- Expertise in PowerPoint, Excel and copywriting
- Experience with strategic planning and KPI development
- Ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Experience collaborating with developers, database architects and technical product leaders to translate technical language to business-facing language
- Demonstrated ability leveraging AI to accelerate message development (drafting, editing, audience-tailoring) and to build/enable automated processes that improve throughput, consistency, and quality
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Experience with Jira and Align
- Confluence intranet page design and management
