The Healthcare Payments Product team is seeking a motivated process and control focused candidate to support and drive key initiatives spanning across the Product disciplines. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that risk and control gaps are identified, reported, and remediated. This includes ensuring that new products and solutions follow firm standards before being brought to market, and are in-synch with business and corporate standards.
As a Product Controls Manager within the Healthcare Payments Product team, you will support and promote key initiatives spanning across the Product disciplines. The Product Controls Manager will coordinate across various departments including Product, Controls, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Third Party Oversight, Business Development, Technology, and Operations to coordinate and communicate control standards and execute against control related projects and initiatives. The ideal person for this role is someone who possesses a strong understanding of controls, process improvement, software development lifecycle, and a blend of business and technical knowledge.
Job responsibilities
- Lead Issue Management related activities, such as drafting of issues, action plans, risk acceptance; oversee remediation of issues
- Actively identify and remediate control gaps; work with product managers in early identification and reporting of emerging control issues
- Monitor and assess the consistency of risk management practices across our Product offering
- Lead control related projects, including strategy creation, requirements oversight and implementation
- Manage and execute foundational controls as assigned
- Support Audit and CCOR readiness activities
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or risk/controls field
- Demonstrable experience satisfying controls requirements for new product introductions
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Proficiency in applying AI to daily responsibilities
