About the Team
The Business Banking Loyalty Generation Marketing team develops and executes customer engagement strategies across the customer lifecycle—from onboarding new clients to engaging and supporting tenured clients. The team creates marketing and educational materials that connect small business customers to relevant products and features at the right time and supports their progress throughout their business journey.
Job Summary
As a Business Banking Field Engagement Marketing Strategy Lead, you will equip Business Banking field teams with field-ready marketing materials, tools, and resources that enable strong, consistent conversations with small business owners in local markets. You will partner with field leadership, marketing, product, and risk stakeholders to develop compliant, on-brand content that supports acquisition, deepening, and retention efforts.
You will bring strong curiosity and a structured approach to learning products and understanding banker and small business owner needs, translating insights into clear messaging and effective field enablement. You will also leverage approved, compliant AI-enabled workflows to accelerate drafting and versioning, supported by appropriate human review and required governance.
Job Responsibilities
- Own the thought leadership content strategy, including messaging architecture, storytelling frameworks, and content standards that enable clear, consistent field conversations and drive engagement.
- Create marketing materials aligned to business objectives and local market needs, including custom presentations, leave-behind materials, and one-pagers.
- Drive the enhancement roadmap for sales enablement tools in partnership with key stakeholders, coordinating ongoing content updates and improving findability, usability, and adoption of marketing collateral.
- Apply approved AI-enabled workflows to accelerate drafting, versioning, and creative development, ensuring human review and adherence to required standards.
- Manage vendor and agency relationships supporting content development and production needs, ensuring quality, timeliness, and strong creative output.
- Partner with risk and compliance to secure required reviews and approvals while maintaining a disciplined iteration cadence.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing or a related field.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly to senior business leaders.
- Demonstrated project management capability, including planning, execution, and delivery against timelines.
- High attention to detail and strong quality standards for messaging, content, and execution.
- Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Financial services experience and/or exposure to product marketing.
- Interest in emerging tools, new content formats, and improved ways to enable the field.
- Experience supporting banker-facing communications across financial products and services, with a practical understanding of regulated marketing and distribution considerations.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate and mitigate risk in a marketing delivery context.
- Experience leading and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver shared outcomes.
