Assistant Vice President – Sr. Counsel - Legal Shared Services Team
We are currently hiring a transactional lawyer to join the Legal Shared Services Team, with verifiable experience in Trading and Markets and/or Restructuring teams in big law firms or in the legal department of banks, financial institutions, fintechs or similar.
Job Requirements:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of corporate documents and agreements with clients, including without limitation, non-disclosure agreements, cooperation agreements, syndicated loans, secured and unsecured credit agreements, transaction support agreements, and LSTA/LMA secondary loan trading documentation.
- Primary point of contact for associate lawyers; key decision-maker and proactive problem-solver for a broad range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently.
- Engage in other special projects, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Law Degree and admission to practice is required
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Comfort with technology and willingness to learn and utilize registration statement software to perform work functions
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple priorities at any given moment
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with multiple business and support groups
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions and solve problems with short notice
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Litera Workshare Compare.
