As an Data Transformation Governance Manager – Vice President within APAC Securities Services Operations, you will lead governance, prioritization, and execution oversight for a strategic portfolio of AI and data transformation initiatives. You will partner across Operations, Technology, Product, Data, AI, and Control functions to translate business strategy into an executable portfolio that delivers measurable outcomes. You will drive delivery discipline, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and capability development to accelerate transformation while maintaining strong governance standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead portfolio governance, intake, triage, and prioritization processes across AI and data transformation initiatives.
  • Drive decision-making forums that align investment, capacity, and resources to strategic business priorities.
  • Establish delivery cadence, milestones, reporting standards, and escalation processes across the transformation portfolio.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, benefits realization, risks, issues, and key dependencies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Solve complex delivery challenges by simplifying processes and implementing innovative approaches to accelerate execution.
  • Partner with Technology, Product, Data, and AI teams to align delivery strategies with enterprise architecture and platform standards.
  • Embed data governance, AI governance, security, privacy, and control requirements throughout program execution.
  • Coordinate with control and risk partners to identify gaps, drive remediation, and strengthen governance practices.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of technical specialists, project managers, and business analysts to support portfolio delivery.
  • Influence senior stakeholders through clear communication of progress, risks, decisions, and strategic trade-offs.
  • Enhance operating models through standardized delivery frameworks, governance playbooks, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Demonstrate 10+ years of experience in transformation delivery, AI programs, data initiatives, or technology-enabled operational improvement.
  • Lead large-scale, complex, multi-workstream portfolios with accountability for governance, prioritization, and delivery outcomes.
  • Apply strong technical literacy across data management, analytics, automation, AI, and modern technology environments.
  • Utilize knowledge of Python and/or SQL to effectively engage with technical and engineering teams.
  • Exhibit advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity while driving practical solutions.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders and communicate effectively with executive audiences.
  • Maintain a strong risk, control, information security, and data governance mindset in decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Demonstrate experience within financial services, securities services, or large global operations environments.
  • Apply knowledge of AI governance, model risk management, and responsible AI practices.
  • Leverage expertise in data lineage, metadata management, data quality, and enterprise data governance frameworks.
  • Utilize experience delivering cloud-based, analytics, automation, or AI-enabled transformation programs.
  • Champion continuous improvement methodologies and scalable delivery governance frameworks.
  • Build high-performing teams by developing technical and business capabilities across diverse disciplines.
  • Promote innovative thinking and creative problem-solving to improve operational and delivery effectiveness.
