DART (Data, Analytics and Reporting Team) serves as the primary provider of data analytics and automation solutions for all functions within the Consumer and Community Banking Operations. The position involves collaboration with various stakeholders and management levels to ensure the delivery of the most effective solutions.

Job Summary

As a Quant Analytics Analyst in the DART (Data, Analytics and Reporting Team), you will be responsible for setting up future-ready solutions and related infrastructure. This role suits someone open to upskilling into new technologies as the role evolves.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automations and applications using Python (HTML and JavaScript desirable)
  • Write secure, high-quality code following best practices and engineering standards
  • Develop and maintain data integrations with databases and AWS RDS
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Gather, analyze, and draw conclusions from large datasets to support decision-making
  • Participate in code reviews and testing
  • Upskill into and apply cloud and DevOps practices, including deploying containerized applications on Amazon ECS, and working with Jenkins, Docker, and Git as part of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Collaborate with AWS infrastructure teams to deploy and optimize containerized applications over time
  • Participate in production support and incident response as needed

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree; relevant experience in a quantitative field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering)
  • Knowledge and experience working with large datasets, with the ability to gather, analyze, and draw conclusions to support decision-making
  • Working knowledge of a BI tech stack (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.) is an acceptable entry background
  • Ability to write secure, high-quality code following best practices and engineering standards
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, including CI/CD concepts
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, excellent communication skills, highly organized, intellectually curious, and able to work independently on unstructured problems
  • Eagerness to learn, upskill, and work on new technology stacks (e.g., cloud and containerization)

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries
  • Prior experience solving problems using automations
  • Exposure to HTML and JavaScript
  • Exposure to cloud and DevOps tooling (AWS, Amazon ECS, Docker, Jenkins, Git)
  • Intellectually curious and strategic, with a focus on business goals and innovation
  • Working knowledge of Python; proficiency preferred, including hands-on experience with data processing frameworks such as PySpark and Pandas
