Drive meaningful operational improvement by analyzing processes, executing controlled change, and delivering reporting that elevates client outcomes and reduces process breaks.

As an Reference Data Analyst within Commercial Investment Bank, you document and evaluate business processes, systems, and user needs to identify root causes of process breaks and systemic issues. You partner with stakeholders to implement controlled enhancements to systems, policies, and procedures while producing reporting aligned to Operations functions. You lead reengineering and process improvement initiatives, balancing client satisfaction, performance expectations, and vendor collaboration.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Document business processes, systems, and user needs by reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating current-state workflows.
  • Implement change related to system, policy, and procedural enhancements required to remediate systemic issues and/or process breaks.
  • Establish and create Operations reporting, and analyze results to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Provide reengineering solutions that resolve current process breaks and identify areas of opportunity for improvement.
  • Adhere to established Change Control policy by supporting procedure creation and ongoing maintenance.
  • Manage vendor relationships while operating with a high degree of creativity and latitude and an expectation of high performance and results.
  • Lead groups and process improvement initiatives to drive execution and measurable operational outcomes.

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities :

  • 3+ years of work experience with advanced skills in MS Office
  • Excellent analytical skills with close attention to detail
  • Effective communication, organizational, prioritization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to consistently meet client requests, ensure client satisfaction, coach and mentor team members through job knowledge, and work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs

Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities :

  • Project management experience
  • Project support experience
  • FINRA licensing (Series 7)
  • MORCOM/JPMorgan CONNECT experience
