As a Product Design - Vice President within the KYC platform team, you will own the technical product vision and roadmap for the KYC platform, treating software as a product with clear value propositions, user personas, and success metrics leveraging Applied AI/ML or Agentic framework.
Job Responsibilities
- Own the technical product vision and roadmap for the KYC platform, treating software as a product with clear value propositions, user personas, and success metrics leveraging Applied AI/ML or Agentic framework

Define and evolve platform capabilities (data services, rules engine, event driven integration patterns like KAFKA and workflow orchestration, integrations, UI components) as reusable enablers for multiple programs and LOBs.
- Establish and maintain a platform health scorecard (reliability, performance, security, cost, developer experience) and drive continuous improvement.
- Design and govern a service-oriented architecture (SOA/microservices) with clear domain boundaries, API contracts, and event-driven patterns and Architect and implement a rule-driven framework (policy-as-code, decision engines) that externalizes business logic from application code, enabling rapid policy changes without deployment cycles.

Define API standards, integration patterns, and data contracts to ensure interoperability across KYC, CDD, COLT, CAP, OSKAR, and downstream systems and drive modernization from monolithic, intent-based workflows to content-first, configuration-driven architectures that support cross-LOB nuances at speed.
- Translate complex regulatory and business requirements into scalable technical solutions, working closely with Product Owners to refine epics, stories, and acceptance criteria and Establish product design best practices: CI/CD, automated testing, observability, security-by-design, and SRE principles.
- Mentor and grow product design talent; foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and accountability and Articulate technical trade-offs, risks, and investment cases to executive audiences in clear, business-aligned language.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure platform alignment with firmwide standards and controls.
- Represent the platform in governance forums (architecture review boards, risk committees, audit readiness sessions).
- Ensure the platform meets all audit, regulatory, and control requirements (data lineage, decision explainability, access controls, evidence capture).

Drive SRE practices: SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, incident management, chaos product design, and proactive resilience testing and Own cost optimization and capacity planning; balance performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Product Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 10+ years in software product design, with 5+ years in product design or platform leadership roles.
- Proven track record of treating software as a product: defining value propositions, user journeys, success metrics, and iterative roadmaps.

Experience building reusable platform capabilities (APIs, SDKs, frameworks, shared services) consumed by multiple teams or LOBs.
- Deep expertise in service-oriented architecture (SOA, microservices, event-driven architecture) and API design (REST, GraphQL, gRPC).
- Hands-on experience with rule engines, decision management systems, or policy-as-code frameworks (e.g., Drools, DMN, OPA, custom DSLs).

Proficiency in modern tech stacks: Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines and Strong understanding of data architecture: domain models, canonical data, event sourcing, CQRS, data lineage, and governance and Experience with workflow orchestration, case management, and BPM platforms (e.g., Camunda, Temporal, custom orchestrators).
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Deep experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and product delivery practices (epics, stories, acceptance criteria, definition of done).

Experience in financial services, preferably in KYC, AML, CDD, onboarding, or compliance domains.
- Experience with SRE practices: SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, incident management, observability, and resilience product design.
- Experience with AI/ML integration, experimentation frameworks, or innovation sprints (e.g., “vibe coding,” AI discovery sprints).
- Familiarity with modernization initiatives: migrating from monoliths to microservices, legacy system decommissioning, cloud migration.
- Knowledge of data analytics, telemetry, and platform health metrics (e.g., Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, custom dashboards).
- Exposure to audit and control frameworks: SOX, GDPR, data privacy, access controls, evidence capture.
Experience working in global, distributed teams across multiple time zones.
