Job summary

As a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst in Business Banking Field Finance, you will create performance reporting and analytics that support senior leaders and field leadership in decision-making. You will deliver concise insights, develop new reporting views, and improve processes through automation and stronger controls.

Job responsibilities

  • Produce field performance review materials and presentation decks for senior management and field leadership.
  • Analyze business performance and provide clear commentary on trends, exceptions, and key drivers.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define reporting needs and translate them into effective dashboards and recurring deliverables.
  • Design and develop new reporting packages to track performance across field initiatives and strategic priorities.
  • Respond to ad hoc analytical requests, including deep dives that identify drivers of performance and progress against initiatives.
  • Challenge existing approaches and recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and data quality.
  • Drive automation and simplification of reporting processes using approved analytics and visualization tools.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through proactive communication, clear timelines, and high-quality delivery.
  • Strengthen reporting controls by partnering with central teams to monitor and improve data accuracy in the underlying infrastructure.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (CFA/FRM/MBA in Finance is a plus but not required).
  • Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries.
  • Experience with data extraction and analysis using tools such as SQL/PySpark SQL/Alteryx/Python/SAS.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience delivering analytical projects (e.g., product analysis, statistical modeling).
  • Working knowledge of statistical modeling techniques (e.g., time series forecasting, linear/logistic regression).
  • Experience building dashboards and analytical outputs using tools such as Tableau, QuickSight, SAS Visual Analytics, or Streamlit.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel) with excellent written and verbal communication.
