Join our real estate strategy and branch operations finance team to shape investment decisions with sharp forecasting, capital project reporting, and executive-ready insights. You’ll partner across Finance and Real Estate to uncover drivers, manage risk, and modernize reporting through automation and new tools. Real Estate (Retail) Financial Analysis is part of the Consumer Bank Branch Network (BN) Finance team. BN Finance manages real estate and branch equipment/ATM expenses across for over 5k Chase branches. The team also owns the Real Estate capital budget and branch/ATM count forecasts for budget and risk scenarios.

As an Financial Analysis Associate on the Retail Analysis team, you will be supporting our real estate strategy and branch operations, you will help deliver expense forecasts, financial insights, and reporting that inform long-term investment decisions and day-to-day execution across the branch network. You will partner closely with stakeholders across Finance, Real Estate, Project Accounting, Lease Administration, and Controllers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate monthly capital project reporting to monitor project timing, cost changes, and impacts to full-year outlook.
  • Produce recurring and ad hoc analysis to support expense forecasting, variance explanations, and decision-making.
  • Develop executive-ready materials (e.g., slide decks) for Finance and Real Estate business reviews.
  • Maintain branch count and new-build projections for Budget, risk scenarios, and external communications.
  • Perform branch-level and general ledger deep-dive analyses to identify drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support development of business cases for real estate investments at the branch and/or market level.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency through automation and adoption of new tools/technology (e.g., AI-enabled workflows).
  • Build working knowledge of Consumer Bank finance processes, including monthly close cadence, approvals, and control requirements.

Required Qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related role.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to influence and collaborate across functions.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; able to synthesize complex data into clear, concise conclusions.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills; comfortable operating in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience supporting recurring processes with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to create and deliver ad hoc reporting for senior management.

Preferred Qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • Proficiency with Essbase and SAP/CDGL (or comparable financial systems) a plus
