As a Reference Data Analyst in Digital Documentation Services within Payments Client Onboarding, you manage end-to-end document validation, indexing, and authentication to support client account openings and product setups. You coordinate with implementation, service, operations, legal, technology, and product partners to deliver accurate, compliant, and timely outcomes. You maintain robust records and management reporting to support audit readiness, service performance visibility, and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess client information and compile compliant documentation packages for distribution through onboarding partners.
  • Validate client documentation against regulatory and internal policy requirements to support account openings and product setups.
  • Perform primary and secondary authentication activities, including signature verification and call-back validation, as required.
  • Review existing firm repository documentation to support new requests and reduce rework.
  • Index, retrieve, and maintain documentation within firm repositories to ensure accuracy, completeness, and accessibility.
  • Administer client-facing legal documentation changes and templates aligned to payments documentation requirements.
  • Process and update client authorization mandates within approved databases and tracking tools.
  • Monitor shared inboxes and workflow queues, track approvals and deferred items, and escalate issues in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and external clients (as applicable) via email and phone to resolve documentation queries and status updates.
  • Produce and maintain documentation trails and management reporting on volumes, turnaround times, and service delivery metrics for performance visibility.
  • Identify operational control gaps and drive continuous improvement actions to strengthen process effectiveness and robustness.

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in operations, documentation processing, or client onboarding within financial services.
  • Demonstrated understanding of banking documentation requirements and client onboarding processes, including Know Your Customer and Anti-Money Laundering controls.
  • Experience supporting payments onboarding activities, including legal agreements and account opening procedures.
  • Proficiency with office productivity tools (email, spreadsheets, documents, and presentations).
  • Experience using document management systems and workflow management tools for request intake, tracking, and execution.
  • Knowledge of documentation authentication procedures, including signature verification and validation protocols.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and documentation gaps.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with internal teams and external clients.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements related to client documentation and audit readiness.

Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • Master of Business Administration or equivalent advanced degree.
  • Experience supporting documentation and onboarding requirements across multiple regulatory jurisdictions.
  • Knowledge of JPMorganChase policies, procedures, and systems relevant to client onboarding and documentation processing.
  • Experience managing legal document templates and version control.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated judgment on when and how to escalate issues.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
