As a Fund Servicing Associate ll within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our fund servicing operations. Leveraging your broad knowledge of fund accounting and administration, you will provide advice and support to ensure progress within established procedures and policies. Your work will have a significant impact on our department, requiring you to apply your advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to develop solutions for varied and complex issues. Job Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting books, records, and securities positions for assigned funds in accordance with established accounting policies and control frameworks.
- Execute daily fund servicing activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to client deadlines and service level agreements.
- Review, investigate, and resolve accounting exceptions, reconciliation breaks, and transaction discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Partner with Operations, Technology, Product, Sales, Program Management, and other business stakeholders to support fund servicing deliverables and business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with operational controls, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify operational risks, control gaps, and process inefficiencies and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Support the implementation of process enhancements, automation initiatives, and operational transformation programs.
- Participate in projects, business initiatives, and strategic programs supporting growth and operational efficiency.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Fund Accounting, Fund Administration, Asset Servicing, or Investment Operations.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, securities processing, and fund accounting operations.
- Experience maintaining accounting records and supporting complex fund structures and investment transactions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve operational exceptions and reconciliation breaks.
- Demonstrated experience operating within a controlled environment with a strong focus on risk management and compliance.
- Knowledge of operational controls, governance frameworks, and risk mitigation practices.
- Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred qualifications, Skills & Capabilities
- Experience supporting NAV calculations, fund valuation, financial reporting, custody operations, or fund administration activities.
- Exposure to process automation, workflow optimization, and operational transformation initiatives.
- Experience working across multiple financial services functions or business lines.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change across teams and operational processes.
- Professional certifications such as CA, CFA, CPA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent industry expertise.
- Experience supporting operational risk and control programs within investment operations environments.
