Job responsibilities
- Process, validate, and oversee the accurate booking of derivative and securities transactions in accordance with established procedures and control standards.
- Support the timely and accurate delivery of NAV components to Fund Accounting teams for final client reporting and valuation.
- Manage daily valuation, cash, collateral, and reconciliation activities across derivative portfolios.
- Investigate and resolve trade breaks, reconciliation exceptions, valuation discrepancies, and operational issues in a timely manner.
- Partner with Trade Processing, Reconciliations, Custody, Fund Managers, Client Service, and Technology teams to resolve operational exceptions and improve service delivery.
- Respond to internal and external client inquiries while ensuring adherence to service level agreements and quality standards.
- Perform root cause analysis on operational issues and implement solutions to improve Straight Through Processing (STP) and reduce manual intervention.
- Identify opportunities to automate processes, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen the control environment.

Ensure all operational risks, control issues, and exceptions are appropriately escalated and remediated.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 5 years of experience in Financial Services, Derivatives Operations, Fund Accounting, Asset Servicing, Investment Operations, or Capital Markets Operations.
- Strong understanding of Derivatives, Securities Markets, Trade Processing, Valuation, Reconciliations, and Collateral Management.
- Knowledge of OTC Derivatives and related operational workflows.
- Understanding of financial instruments including Equities, Fixed Income Securities, Commodities, Indices, and Derivative Products.
- Experience supporting NAV production, valuation processes, cash management, and fund operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
- CA, MBA (Finance), CFA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience supporting hedge funds, asset managers, alternative investments, or derivatives-focused investment vehicles.
- Knowledge of derivative valuation methodologies, cash and collateral management, and market data processing.
- Experience working with third-party accounting platforms and valuation systems.
- Exposure to operational transformation, process automation, and technology enhancement initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and drive continuous improvement efforts.
