As a Program / Project Manager - Vice President within the Financial Crime Global Governance, Policy and Transformation Team, you will lead cross-functional regulatory change programs within our First Line of Defence (1LOD) Know Your Customer (KYC) department.
Your strong leadership skills will be essential in driving the end-to-end management of a complex programs, from strategic planning and execution to stakeholder management and reporting
This role will suit someone with proven delivery experience across complex, multi-stakeholder programmes. You will ideally have experience in a regulated, policy-driven, or government environment and will also assume a leadership position with the management of junior project managers based in location that will be responsible for project implementation of Global Programs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of regulatory program / projects. This involves defining the program scope, objectives, and key deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Partner with various senior internal stakeholders across different lines of business (LOBs), including Compliance, Technology, Operations, and Business Units, to ensure seamless program delivery. You'll act as the central point of contact for all program-related activities.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, ensuring that all program activities are in line with risk appetite and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement controls to manage and monitor these risks effectively.
- Follow a robust governance framework for the program, including clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes. Provide regular, transparent, and accurate reporting to senior management and governance committees on program progress, risks, and performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage the program budget, resources, and timelines to ensure efficient and timely delivery of milestones. This includes securing necessary resources and tracking expenditures against the approved budget.
Required Qualifications, capabilities and Skills:
- Strong program and project management skills, including the ability to manage complex, projects / programs with multiple workstreams.
- Experience in financial services, with significant experience in AML/KYC, Financial Crime or regulatory compliance initiatives is required
- Solid experience of working in Regulatory Landscape is essential
- Proven experience leading teams and influencing stakeholders at within a complex, multinational organisation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic approach to balancing risk and business objectives
- The ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority is essential.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience working in a 1LOD or KYC environment is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated understanding of AI and emerging technologies, with the ability to identify, assess, and drive practical AI-enabled transformational opportunities across business processes and operating models.
