As a Fund Servicing Associate / Senior Analyst within the OTC Derivatives Valuation Control Group you will be responsible for providing independent valuation services across a broad range of Over-the-Counter (OTC) derivative products. You will support institutional clients, asset managers, hedge funds, and insurance companies by delivering accurate valuations, performing valuation analysis, resolving complex queries, and supporting client onboarding and new product initiatives.

Job responsibilities
  • Perform independent valuations of OTC derivative portfolios across Rates, Credit, Equity, Foreign Exchange (FX), Inflation, Commodity, Volatility, and Variance Swap products.
  • Produce, validate, and analyze daily derivative valuations for institutional and asset management clients.
  • Compare valuations across multiple pricing sources and investigate valuation variances and exceptions.
  • Analyze valuation movements using risk sensitivities (Greeks) and clearly articulate drivers impacting portfolio valuations.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on derivative valuation methodologies, models, and market conventions.
  • Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies, valuation challenges, and market data issues.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, fund managers, operations teams, risk teams, and product partners.
  • Contribute to process enhancements, valuation controls, and operational efficiencies.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • 5 years of experience in OTC Derivatives Operations, Valuation Control, Product Control, Middle Office, Risk Management, or Capital Markets Operations.
  • Strong understanding of OTC Derivative products and valuation methodologies across multiple asset classes.
  • Knowledge of Rates, Credit, Equity, FX, Commodity, Inflation, and Volatility derivative markets.
  • Understanding of derivative pricing principles, risk sensitivities (Greeks), and valuation drivers.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to investigate valuation discrepancies and communicate findings effectively.
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience working with Bloomberg, Reuters, Markit, Refinitiv, or other market data and valuation platforms.
  • Knowledge of valuation models, pricing methodologies, and quantitative analytics.
  • Exposure to structured derivatives, exotic products, or complex valuation environments.
  • Experience supporting client onboarding, product launches, or valuation control frameworks.
  • Understanding of market risk, valuation risk, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, CA, MBA (Finance) or progress towards obtaining these certifications.
  • Experience leveraging data analytics and automation tools to drive operational efficiency.
