As a Reference Data Operations Analyst within Instrument Reference Data, you support the delivery of high-quality reference data services by partnering with Operations, Product, Technology, and subscribers. You combine operational delivery, analytical problem-solving, and change implementation to improve data quality, controls, operational efficiency, and the overall subscriber experience. You contribute to strategic initiatives through investigation, reporting, documentation, and delivery support.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver day-to-day instrument reference data processes to meet quality and service expectations.
  • Investigate data quality exceptions and operational issues to drive timely resolution.
  • Implement process improvements, control enhancements, onboarding activities, and operating model changes.
  • Partner with subscribers, Product, Technology, and Operations teams to align on business priorities and outcomes.
  • Analyze data and perform root-cause investigations to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Assist project delivery by supporting business requirements, testing, implementation activities, and post-implementation validation.
  • Produce reporting and management information to enable operational oversight and decision making.
  • Facilitate audits, reviews, and control-related activities by preparing evidence and responding to queries.
  • Maintain process documentation and enable knowledge-sharing across the team.
  • Identify simplification opportunities that improve controls and enhance the subscriber experience.

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • Demonstrate experience supporting operational delivery activities with a focus on quality and service expectations.
  • Apply analytical problem-solving skills to investigate exceptions and resolve operational issues.
  • Communicate effectively with subscribers and stakeholders across Operations, Product, and Technology.
  • Collaborate across teams to support business priorities and deliver agreed outcomes.
  • Perform data analysis and root-cause investigations to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Execute change implementation activities, including process improvements and control enhancements.
  • Generate reporting and management information to support operational oversight and decision making.
  • Uphold control and review practices by supporting audit and control-related activities.
  • Document processes clearly and keep materials current to support consistent execution and knowledge-sharing.
  • Exercise sound judgement when handling issues and exceptions.
