As a Reconciliation Manager Associate in International Consumer Banking , you lead the end-to-end delivery of recurring objectives and key results and key performance indicator reporting, plus ad hoc reporting, grounded in standardized metric definitions and strong data governance. You design, build, and enhance scorecards, execute data-quality controls and reconciliations, and translate findings into accurate, timely, executive-ready reporting materials and presentation decks. You succeed by influencing across teams through clear communication and stakeholder management, applying advanced analytical problem-solving, and maintaining a control-focused mindset aligned with audit expectations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design standardized metric definitions and scorecards aligned with data governance standards.
- Produce recurring and ad hoc reporting packs, performing data-quality checks, reconciliations, and exception analysis with decision-oriented commentary.
- Develop self-service analytics capabilities and monitoring frameworks that enable stakeholders to access insights independently.
- Craft executive-ready presentation materials that translate results into clear narratives supported by polished visuals.
- Coordinate stakeholder reviews, approvals, content lifecycle, and version control to ensure readiness ahead of governance forums.
- Automate reporting workflows and controls to reduce cycle time, strengthen control effectiveness, and minimize operational risk.
- Own post-implementation sustainment, including documentation, training, knowledge transfer, and continuous enhancements.
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Demonstrate 5+ years of experience in banking or financial services, focused on reporting, automation, and analytics.
- Communicate clearly in writing and verbally, including progress, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders.
- Deliver accurate outputs under tight deadlines.
- Leverage experience with reconciliation platforms and data transformation initiatives.
- Influence effectively across business teams and support functions.
- Challenge constructively with a control-focused mindset.
- Exhibit strong knowledge of risk, controls, and regulatory expectations aligned with audit standards.
- Drive operational changes that improve efficiency and strengthen controls.
- Solve complex problems using advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Hold a relevant degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification.
Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Evidence measurable automation outcomes and performance improvements using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Utilize analytics and automation tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power Automate, Visual Basic for Applications, scripting, or low-code solutions for reporting routines.
- Automate reporting, analytics, and visualization routines using Alteryx and Tableau.
- Strengthen data quality through governance practices, validation rules, and exception monitoring.
- Partner with Technology to coordinate platform enhancements using iterative delivery practices.
- Champion straight-through processing improvements that reduce manual touchpoints.
