Become a part of our vibrant CEO Office team, where we provide support to JPMSE’s Chief Executive Officer and drive J.P. Morgan SE’s priorities, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and support executive decision-making.

As a Vice President within our CEO Office team, you will support the Chief of Staff in driving J.P. Morgan SE’s priorities and strengthening the executive governance and operating cadence. You will work closely with senior leadership to help shape, execute, and monitor cross-functional strategies and initiatives, ensuring alignment to the CEO’s agenda and delivery against agreed objectives. This position demands a well-organized, energetic, and experienced individual who can take ownership of complex topics with a structured, results-oriented approach. You should be able to engage and motivate stakeholders across the organization, facilitate productive working sessions, and constructively challenge working group members to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the CEO and senior stakeholders to develop and execute strategies and key initiatives, ensuring alignment to business objectives.

  • Contribute to JPMSE’s strategy and financial planning cycles, supporting our multi-year strategy development and performance review activities; support preparation of the annual report with clear narrative and governance-ready inputs.

  • Conduct structured problem-solving and analysis, translating complex inputs into clear recommendations to inform timely leadership decisions.

  • Draft and coordinate executive-level materials (incl. briefing memos, governance packs, and Board updates), and support internal CEO communications (e.g. town halls, leadership messages) with consistent narrative and stakeholder alignment.

  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery across teams to execute projects and track progress against milestones, dependencies, and objectives.

  • Strengthen the governance framework, participate in governance forums, and oversee the reporting of performance metrics.

  • Support outsourcing, business resiliency, and recovery & resolution planning deliverables and regulatory submissions, ensuring timelines and governance requirements are met.

  • Build strong partnerships with local and regional stakeholders (including business managers, Finance, and Risk & Control teams) to drive alignment and ensure consistent execution of priority initiatives.

  • Identify proactively delivery risks and issues, surface them early with root-cause analysis and proposed mitigating solutions, and drive rapid resolution through clear escalation and accountability.

  • Assist the Chief of Staff with audit and regulatory engagement, coordinating responses to internal/external audit inquiries and regulatory requests, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely delivery.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.

  • Significant relevant experience in strategy, management consulting, investment banking, business development, or an equivalent role within a complex, highly regulated institution.

  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and trends, and translate insights into actionable conclusions with high attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, able to craft executive-ready narratives and influence, align, and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proven project management capability with an ownership mindset, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive work to completion against timelines and quality standards.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong initiative, accountability, and sound prioritization, while knowing when and how to escalate and seek guidance from peers or management.

  • High integrity, discretion, and professional judgment, with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) required.

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with AI-enabled tools to enhance research, drafting, and workflow efficiency.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • MBA or advanced degree a plus.

  • Prior experience supporting senior leadership and enterprise-wide governance forums.

  • Solid understanding of banking products and services, operating models, and regulatory requirements.

  • German language skills preferred.
