As “Client Tax Operations & E-Invoicing Professional / Lead” within our Client Tax Operations (India Utility), you will be responsible for setting and improving our organizational objectives, and ensuring their consistent accomplishment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements and draft clear user stories.
  • Drive program working groups to resolve open questions, define interlocks, estimate, build, and test deliverables.
  • Partner with global LOB Operations teams to execute e-invoicing services.
  • Maintain a strong and stable operational environment with robust controls, checks, and balances.
  • Embed a client-centric approach across the team to maximize client experience.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws and regulations across markets.
  • Coach teams through soft-skill development and technical training while supporting talent management, retention, succession planning, and critical coverage.
  • Communicate consistently through a clear, regular communication plan across stakeholders.
  • Apply end-to-end process expertise across SOPs, validation points, and international tax reclaims processing.
  • Influence technology enhancements by articulating stakeholder needs and leading change management initiatives.
  • Develop and implement tools to improve quality and accuracy, identify efficiency opportunities, and execute changes in a controlled manner.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Graduate or Post-Graduate degree.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in operations.
  • Experience working with indirect tax programs such as e-invoicing.
  • Familiarity with Taxation and Tax Operations across multiple markets.
  • Good understanding of the SDLC.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a business analyst and tester.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and documentation skills with clear, concise, logical writing.
  • Ability to operate in a high standards risk and control environment.
  • Experience in client service and relationship management, communicating complex issues with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project) and AI tools.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Relevant tax market knowledge or industry experience.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and the banking industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, and UI Path.
