Join the Location strategy team and put you skills of project management to the test through impacting Consumer and Community Banking markets and help projects achieve their goals. This oversight includes directly managed projects, projects managed by others within the Location Strategy team, and initiatives managed by key constituents outside of the team.
As a Location Strategy Project Manager - Senior Associate within the Location Strategy team, you will have the opportunity to utilize your project management skills to impact Consumer and Community Banking markets. You will be the subject matter expert for all activities in the market impacting Consumer and Community Banking, responsible for the oversight and integration of all Consumer and Community Banking market specific projects and initiatives in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. This role provides an exciting opportunity to develop a thorough understanding of team member sub lines of business promoters, strategic objectives, and subsequent location strategy needs, goals, challenges, and dependencies.
Job responsibilities
Coordinate and execute projects and initiatives impacting Consumer and Community Banking’s Location Strategy Manage and partner with Project Managers within the market
Arrange and conduct site walkthroughs to ensure facilities maintain corporate standard and identify needs/opportunities on a case-by-case basis
Develop thorough understanding of individual sub lines of business drivers, strategic objectives and subsequent location strategy needs, goals, challenges, and dependencies
Maintain proactive engagement model with clients to stay apprised of strategy adjustments, providing consultation and influence on business decisions
Understand, convey, and monitor businesses adherence to Global Real Estate parameters
Partner with local Consumer and Community Banking and Real Estate Leadership ensuring shared awareness and alignment on market strategy and facility needs
Identify potential obstacles and challenges before point of escalation and develop remediation strategy and oversee numerous ad-hoc requests
Monitor seat supply and demand in market and create awareness where risk and opportunities arise
Create strong and long lasting relationships with key constituents to foster the successful execution of Consumer and Community Banking’s location strategy. This includes partners in Real Estate, Technology, Location Leaders, and Senior Business Executives
Use conflict management and resolution between the various Lines of Business in regards to the Location Strategy
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline
5+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, operations analytics, or project management
Strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented, fact-based approach
Demonstrated ability to coordinate and execute multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously. Time management skills a must.
Excellent, polished communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong problem-solving skills: can lead in areas of ambiguity and find solutions to unforeseen obstacles.
Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and sustain working partnerships with various and numerous individuals at all levels of the organization
Self-starter who is driven to excel in all aspects of their role; Strong personal management and
organizational skills; ability to manage multiple (and changing) project deliverables at same timeStrong technical skills Advanced Microsoft Office skills (PitchPro, Excel)
