Make your mark improving how clients experience asset servicing by driving automated testing, clear defect reporting, and continuous quality improvement.
As a Testing Associate within Digital Platform Services, you deliver high-quality testing outcomes across strategic change programs supporting Securities Services. You design, document, and execute manual and automated tests, partnering closely with product and technology teams to improve delivery predictability and client experience. You provide clear, data-driven visibility of test progress, defects, and outcomes to enable timely sign-off and release decisions.
Job Responsibilities :
- Define and document test scenarios and test scripts using business-driven development and test-driven development approaches
- Execute end-to-end testing across features, integrations, and business processes for change programs
- Build and maintain automated tests to enable efficient, timely regression and release testing
- Log, monitor, prioritize, and retest defects, ensuring accurate reporting and clear remediation status
- Validate, package, and present test results to support internal sign-off and release readiness
- Deputize for the test manager during project calls and stakeholder communications when required
- Identify opportunities to streamline testing processes and share improvements with the wider team for validation and adoption
- Partner with technology teams to support sprint planning, test-driven development practices, and test automation strategy
- Contribute to clear program updates in project and team forums, aligned to deadlines and delivery milestones
- Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across business, operations, and technology teams
- Raise risks and concerns early, proposing practical options to support resolution and delivery outcomes
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities :
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software testing within the financial services industry.
- Experience in automated testing, including designing and executing automated test coverage and experience creating test scenarios, documenting user stories or requirements, and producing test scripts through to execution
- Experience managing defects through triage, reporting, retesting, and closure
- Experience working in agile delivery environments and adapting to evolving delivery practices
- Functional experience supporting client onboarding processes
- Experience in financial services testing within complex, high-volume delivery environments
- Ability to produce clear, data-driven testing and delivery reporting for program stakeholders
- Strong numeracy and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including concise status updates to senior stakeholders and clients
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver under pressure while remaining hands-on
Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities :
- Certification in agile delivery methods
- Certification in software testing practices
- Experience testing custody, settlements, asset servicing, cash management, foreign exchange, or transaction reporting capabilities
- Experience with data visualization tooling used for delivery and quality reporting
