As an Associate within Markets Operations, you deliver end-to-end analytics and data remediation initiatives through strong stakeholder management and disciplined project execution. You translate complex data issues into clear insights, documented definitions and lineage, and actionable remediation plans that improve controls and outcomes. You contribute to strategic transformation by leveraging automation and analytics tooling to industrialize processes and drive measurable efficiencies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage data remediation and analytics projects from initiation through closure, supporting all phases to enable successful delivery.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis and data quality monitoring, including trend and variance analysis and root-cause investigation, to surface issues and remediation needs.
- Document data definitions and lineage and recommend remediation actions based on identified quality gaps.
- Capture and maintain requirements, objectives and key results, and key project documentation to support project intake and closure.
- Translate data insights into business impact assessments and identify linkages across systems and processes.
- Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to support effective delivery.
- Coordinate stakeholders and team members to unblock progress and resolve issues as they arise.
- Monitor milestones and timelines and provide regular updates to the project lead and management.
- Contribute to post-project reviews and documentation to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree with relevant techno-functional work experience.
- Demonstrate 4+ years of experience in data analytics or data solutions, including applying project management practices to deliver analytics or data remediation initiatives within financial services.
- Apply strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, know your customer and client onboarding, reference and static data, corporate actions, and related financial processes.
- Exhibit the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment, take ownership of deliverables, and execute tasks to high quality within agreed timelines.
- Show a proven record of stakeholder management and involvement in transformation program initiatives.
- Display the ability to learn new business functions, systems, and processes quickly to support a variety of projects.
- Use hands-on experience with extract, transform, load approaches and analytics or automation tools such as Alteryx, Python, Tableau, Qlik Sense, and Jira for agile delivery and tracking.
- Leverage advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to analyze data and present clear insights.
Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities:
- Complete a degree in a technology-related discipline.
- Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes.
