Overview
Kimley-Horn is looking for an Communications Administrative Assistant to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina (NC)! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Provide administration support for team members: meeting scheduling, expense reporting, shipping, filing, ordering catering, and other similiar activitites
- Manage the online Kimley-Horn store: selecting items, maintaining inventory reports, revolving issues, and other similar activities
- Maintain online photography database (OpenAsset): uploading, labeling, and organizing
- Support special projects and initatives: sourcing and procuring gifts, maintaining and editing spreadsheets, meeting project deadlines, maintaining confidentially
- Sustain relationships with third-party partners and vendors: printers, suppliers, etc
Qualifications
- Self-sufficient with ability to work independently
- Flexible with changing deadlines and priorities
- Capable of managing and balancing multiple tasks/priorities with a sense of urgency
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across vendors, partners, peers, and leaders
- Positive, collaborative, and client-oriented attitude
- Ability to learn new tasks and/or software programs quickly
- Ability to effectively partner with team members and other administrative staff
- Ability to respond quickly and efficiently to requests for assistance
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), including advanced Outlook calendar management and Word mail merges
- Ability to create detailed spreadsheets in Excel with formulas, manage data entry, and organize files in SharePoint
