Overview
Kimley-Horn’s Technology Solutions (KHTS) group operates like an internal SaaS company inside a 10,000-person engineering design firm — and we’re at an inflection point.
We’ve built powerful internal tools. Now we’re modernizing how those products are positioned, understood, and eventually brought to market externally.
We’re looking for a mid-level Product Marketing Manager who thrives in environments that are:
Still being built
Light on process (for now)
Heavy on opportunity, ownership, and influence
If you’ve worked in SaaS or tech and enjoy being early — shaping messaging, defining workflows, and helping a product function mature — this role was designed for you.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
This is a hands-on, builder role. You’ll be embedded with product, design, and development teams and will help turn user insight into clear positioning, compelling stories, and practical go-to-market execution.
Market & User Research
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research (interviews, surveys, usage analysis)
Identify user pain points, motivations, and unmet needs
Analyze competitors, industry trends, and adjacent tech landscapes
Translate insights into product positioning and roadmap inputs
Product Marketing & Messaging
Develop product messaging that clearly communicates value and differentiation
Create sales enablement assets, one-pagers, case studies, and web content
Support early go-to-market efforts as products evolve from internal tools to external offerings
Help implement and shape email and content marketing efforts for new audiences
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Product Owners, UI/UX, and Development
Share insights in ways that drive alignment and better product decisions
Collaborate with marketing teammates focused on proposals, conferences, and brand
Building the Function (The Fun Part)
Help define templates, workflows, and best practices for product marketing
Improve documentation, research standards, and feedback loops
Bring ideas from past SaaS or tech roles and adapt them to a growing environment
Play a meaningful role in shaping how product marketing works at KHTS
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, HCD, or related field
-
4+ years of experience in:
Product marketing
SaaS / technology marketing

Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
