Overview
Kimley-Horn's Denver, CO office is seeking an MV Collection System Engineer to support fast‑paced, developer‑driven renewable generation and BESS projects.
Responsibilities
- Design MV collection systems including feeder layouts, routing, and voltage drop
- Develop and redline site layouts, one‑lines, and schematic diagrams
- Perform supporting electrical studies such as load flow and voltage drop
- Coordinate closely with civil teams on trenching and duct bank design
- Support utility interconnection reviews while maintaining developer schedules
- Provide rapid engineering support during construction and commissioning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 4+ years of MV power system or renewable energy design experience
- Strong ability to provide redlines and technical direction
- Familiarity with NEC, IEEE, and utility standards
Salary Range:
- $99,000 - $130,000
- Eligible for Performance Based Bonus Compensation
