The Surfscan group includes a team of engineers, technology development, apps engineers and product marketing focused on technology that enables wafer, IC and equipment manufacturers to develop, qualify and monitor their process tools. Defects and process non-uniformities detected on Surfscan equipment allow for early identification of yield excursions. The flagship Surfscan products include the SPx platforms for wafer surface quality and wafer defect inspection tools and systems for inspection of polished wafers, epi wafers and engineered substrates during the wafer fabrication process.

Group/Division

SFS-ADE (Surfscan) division consists in an organization globally located in US, India, and Singapore.The SFS-ADE division has the mission to provide bare wafer inspection tools with high sensitivity & throughput (wafers per hours) that helps reduce cost of ownership and find killer defects very early.

We effectively partner with field support teams and customers to lower overall fab costs by supplying world-leading high-throughput inspection systems. Our comprehensive product portfolio includes:

Surfscan SP7 (with optional back side inspection), WaferSight, PWG, Surfserver and FabVision range of products provide solutions inspecting bare wafers and for wafer geometry measurements such as thickness, shape, and flatness. These products are deployed across several advanced wafer and IC fabs for a large number of applications.

Besides developing valuable products, the SFS-ADE division provides support to the customers to achieve performance entitlement through the sharing and implementation of applications BKM (Best Known Methods).

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

• Responsible for software development activities using C++/C#, Managed C++, MFC, ATL, COM, .NET in Windows 32/64 bit environment
• Work in a global environment to Interact with multi-site team members (India, Singapore and USA) and customers during software product life cycle for requirement analysis, design, coding, integration and testing
• Work with hardware and systems/application groups to understand system requirements and map them to a software design
• Participate in all stages of software development including deployment/trouble shooting at customer sites (for current products)

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer science / Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical or equivalent field (Master's preferred)
• 3 - 5 years of Software Engineering Experience preferrable in a product company
• Good Communication, Inter personnel and Team co-ordination skills required
• Self learner, able to work with minimum supervision
• Creative thinker with good problem analysis and solving abilities

Experience:

• Excellent software design/implementation capabilities
• Networking and Hardware knowledge is essential
• Technical competency in using Visual C/C++, C# and managed C++, MFC, WPF, ATL, COM in Windows 32/64 bit programming environment
• Proven experience in using UML, OOP and OOD methodologies
• Good Debugging skills
• Proven experience in User interface design and implementation
• Semi-conductor domain experience is a plus

Master's Level Degree or work experience of 0 years , Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 1 years
