Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Logistics Analyst to lead data analytical support for our Global Logistics network. Individual pursuing this role are required to enable business decisions through data reporting, modeling and analytics. Candidate of this role is expected to be able to work independently and collaboratively with cross functional groups, mainly Global Logistics and Finance.
Successful candidate must possess hands on logistics operational knowledge as well as excellent analytical and data management skills to work successfully in high-pressure, time sensitive situations
Responsibilities:
Primary focus on data analytics on Service Logistics operations with potential support to Manufacturing Logistics group
Review logistics costs and operational data for accuracy through collecting data from various internal and external sources: SAP, freight audit system, 3PL system, etc.
Prepare Global Logistics Financial Reporting on expenses and budget forecasting
Perform monthly spend reconciliation, support fiscal month end analysis and reporting activities
Develop and maintain Global Logistics financial and operational metrics
Create and revamp Global Logistics processes and procedures to enhance work efficiencies
Perform cost analytics and develop cost control measures on 3PL expenses
Create data visualizations and develop presentations for management reporting
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in contract/service logistics, manufacturing logistics or supply chain operations
Experience in SAP or other ERP systems
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years related industry experience in supply chain, distribution and logistics, business analytics or financial analysis.
Advanced level in Microsoft Office applications: Excel & PBI
Excellent data, financial and analytical/problem solving skills and presenting solutions
Solid oral and written communication skills, especially around analytical concepts and methods
Great work ethic and intellectual curiosity
Proven track record of surpassing objectives and delivering exceptional results
Self-driven and able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency
Collaborative and team-oriented attitude, willing and excited to work with a global team
Flexible to work with teams located in different time zones
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business analytics or Finance.
