Group/Division

KLA is well known for its high-performing business model which routinely produces significant profit margins and revenue. Key to supporting KLA business is the finance team that partners with corporate and global business organizations to provide expertise and guidance for developing and executing sound business models and practices. The Finance organization consists of operations and corporate finance teams. The operations finance team influences business decisions by gathering the best available operations information, distilling it and making recommendations to our management team on the best course of action. The corporate team provides a broad range of services, such as financial planning, corporate accounting, tax, industry analysis and benchmarking, internal audits, SEC reporting and merger and acquisition support.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

KLA Corporation is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst who will be a significant part of the technology-minded and efficiency-focused international tax team. This position will work within the team as a member responsible for international tax related tasks. The position includes assisting with tax provision, tax research and modeling, US international tax compliance and ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare quarterly and annual US international tax provisions such as GILTI, FDII, Subpart F income and Pillar 2 taxes.

  • Review quarterly and annual foreign tax provisions.

  • Assist with preparation of US international tax forms (e.g., Forms 5471, 8858 and 1118).

  • Assist with ad hoc transfer pricing analyses.

  • Assist with US and foreign tax audits.

  • Assist with tax projects (e.g., legal entity rationalization and tax modeling).

  • Research tax legislations and identify impacts.

  • Participate in the tax technology initiative to transform tax process and workflow.

  • Collaborate and team with cross-functioning teams to provide tax support.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years. Degree in Accounting or Finance related field is preferred.

  • At least 4 years of relevant international tax experience.

  • Knowledge of tax code, compliance, and procedures for corporations.

  • Good technical understanding of GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, and FTC.

  • Ability to utilize and navigate the SAP system.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.

  • Motivation to develop knowledge base in international tax.

  • Strong ability to partner and build relationships with internal clients.

  • Multifaceted, meticulous, and analytical problem solver with goal towards efficiency and operational improvement.
