Group/Division

KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA). The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology. We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market. The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.

Job Description

Ensure the system will meet the system requirements, Understanding deeply the technical aspects of the system (HW/Algo/SW) and our customers use-cases to provide robust technical capabilities to our customers requirements Hands-on troubleshooting and maintaining of engineering prototype systems in division headquarters Review and approve system requirements and design documents, Contribute to and work the product marketing and the division’s strategic plans to clarify the market need in terms of system requirements, Collect and analyze large amount of data from the system (in hose and from customers) to gain deep insights regard the system behavior Respond to field escalations where field service engineers have failed to resolve complex system performance problems, by providing written plans of action by e-mail, phone or on-site hands-on assistance at customer sites worldwide

Be able to quickly get up to speed to design and execute multi-disciplinary experiments, write and peer review detailed test plans and summary reports for system testing Hands-on troubleshooting and maintaining of engineering prototype systems in division headquarters

Minimum Qualifications

  • BSc in System Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electro-optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bio-medical Engineering from a leading university. Master degree - advantage.
  • Experience in development of complex systems /multi-disciplinary products, including HW, Mechanics, Software and Physics- at least 5 years
  • Experience in system engineering- at least 3 years
  • Demonstrate ability to work with technical leadership team to implement new products & technologies, and collaborate with in-house teams as well as remote global teams/contractors.
  • Capable of developing high-level system requirements based on marketing, product, and customer inputs.
  • Capable of partitioning large systems into subsystems, modules and components each of which clearly defined and straightforward to implement.
  • Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issues..
  • Experience in generating a set of acceptance test requirements, together with the designers & test engineers, and experience with quality management, standardizations and regulations.
  • Experience in Imaging / Electro-Optical systems - advantage.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, able to "hold the room" and lead meetings.
  • Fluent in Hebrew and English
