Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
KLA is seeking a talented Algorithm Engineer to join our Software Engineering Group within the Reticle Product Division (RAPID). This role involves leveraging your expertise in image processing, computer vision, mathematics, and software engineering to develop cutting-edge algorithms for integration into KLA’s advanced metrology platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and calibrate optical imaging models for KLA metrology systems.
- Transform specific tasks into generic mathematical problems and devise customized algorithmic solutions.
- Work independently to propose innovative ideas, develop proofs-of-concept, and integrate algorithms into production code.
- Collaborate with software developers to design and implement data management, model training, and inference workflows.
- Provide support and collaborate effectively with team members.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in software development using C++ and object-oriented programming.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel (less than 15%).
