Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
- Responsible for field service activities associated with repair, preventive maintenance, installation and relocation start-up service of complex equipment at customer wafer fab facility
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and conduct diagnostic procedures to isolate problems and take steps to minimize downtime or system interruptions and eliminate equipment malfunctions. Determine corrective actions as required.
- Conduct customer orientation and technical training on all aspects of equipment maintenance support for user application.
- Professionally represent the company to the customer. Be committed to customer satisfaction and develop good customer relations by maintaining standards of conduct acceptable to both KLA and customers.
- Interface directly with customer at a management and engineer level.
- Prepare field service reports on customer support activity and provides documentation to other supporting functions on recurring problems
- Remain up to date on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals and other relevant materials.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics Engineering
Good interpersonal/communication skills in understanding customer needs.
Shows initiative and can work independently.
Ability to work overtime and travel at short notice (transport allowance benefit, overtime work is compensated)
