TEAM OVERVIEW
KKR’s Global Investment Operations team supports the firm’s day-to-day middle-office and back-office operations that drive business decisions and long-term success. The team collaborates closely with KKR’s Investment Data Operations and Controllership teams to ensure accurate processing and reporting of the investments.
POSITION SUMMARY
The role is responsible for collaborating with various groups within the firm to support asset servicing of investments and finalization of Gross Asset Value (GAV). The team functions at a high level in a fast-paced environment, consistently collaborating with our finance team, data team members and external agents and counterparties. The role is responsible for performing and overseeing the day-to-day activities performed by the team, hiring, training, and establishing priorities.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Excellence
- Strong knowledge of daily asset servicing operations, cash reconciliations, and exception management
- Exposure to processing principal activities like Drawdown, Paydown, contract rollover in Geneva
- Collaborate with the Credit Finance teams to ensure appropriate accounting, reporting, and operational controls are met for NAV finalization
- Review journal entries, general ledger accounts for periodic book closure
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality, consistency, and accuracy standards
- Verbalize, own and drive process enhancements including collaborating with the global teams
- Support ongoing projects, system integration, transitions and perform UAT
- Own ad-hoc tasks and audit requests
- Create and manage process metrics, KPIs, other dashboards at regular frequency, as required
Stakeholder Management
- Function as a point of escalation for all queries from local and global teams, both internal & external
- Relationship with third-party agent banks, custodians, third party administrators
- Interact with counterparts from global finance and operations teams regularly to understand their requirements, reporting needs and possible challenges
- Recruit, train, and develop team to enhance their skills and enable a high-performing team
- Effectively manage performance of the team by coaching, and providing constructive feedback
- Provide strong, and positive collaboration across the Operations teams
QUALIFICATIONS
- 13+ years of experience in similar roles and understands requirements for financial organizations
- Experience in a multinational Financial Services organization and/or Private Equity preferred
- Effective communication skills, email writing skills and strong people management experience
- Knowledge of loans, bonds, revolvers, loan syndication, and participations preferred
- Knowledge of strategies like Direct Lending, Mezzanine, CLOs, and Asset Backed Financing
- Solution oriented leader who can manage numerous tasks and drive results in a timely manner
- Ability to detect & evaluate risk factors and assist and review mitigation of identified risks
- Exposure to Data Integration, Data Management, Data Accuracy and Robotics
- Displays high intellectual curiosity, innovative mindset, accountability and integrity
