POSITION SUMMARY

KKR is seeking to hire a Procurement Operations – Lead (Assistant Vice President level) based in our Gurugram office. This role will lead the Procurement Operations team, a hybrid group of Procurement Operations Analysts/Associates and Consultants. The team, established less than one year ago, is responsible for the implementation of the Coupa Procure-to-Pay (P2P) module, scheduled for completion in Q4 2026.

Concurrent with P2P implementation, the Lead will be responsible for maturing the P2P module into a best-in-class third-party spend management tool while building an effective operating model that can support additional procurement responsibilities. This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring both operational expertise and strategic vision to shape the future of procurement operations at KKR.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

  • 9–12 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Procurement Operations, and other procurement-related roles
  • Proven leadership experience managing operational procurement teams in a global or regional capacity
  • In depth familiarity with procurement and accounts payable systems, including Coupa, Concur, SAP, S/4 HANA, and related purchase order management tools
  • Experience implementing and optimizing Procure-to-Pay systems and processes, preferably Coupa, in a complex, multi-jurisdictional environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to establish processes, governance, and reporting frameworks for procurement functions

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage the Procurement Operations team, ensuring alignment with KKR’s procurement strategy and operational goals
  • Oversee the implementation of the Coupa P2P module in partnership with technology, finance, and business stakeholders, ensuring delivery by Q4 2026
  • Post-implementation, drive the maturation of the P2P platform into a best-in-class spend management tool, optimizing workflows, controls, and analytics
  • Develop and implement procurement policies, processes, and performance metrics to ensure efficiency, compliance, and value creation
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across Finance, Legal, IT, and business units to enable effective procurement support and vendor engagement
  • Identify opportunities to expand the scope of procurement operations supporting the overall procurement and strategic sourcing processes for the firm,
  • Manage relationships with third-party consultants and technology vendors supporting the procurement function
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership on procurement performance, savings, compliance, and operational risks
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture, providing coaching and development opportunities for team members
