KKR’s Global Marketing Team is seeking an experienced and strategic Social Media Strategist (VP) to elevate the firm’s digital presence across global social platforms. This individual will play a critical role in shaping and executing KKR’s social media strategy, driving engagement with key audiences, and amplifying the firm’s brand, insights, and impact stories. The ideal candidate combines creative thinking with analytical rigor and has a proven ability to translate complex business and investment narratives into compelling, on-brand social content.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute KKR’s global social media strategy across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Instagram, and emerging platforms.
- Collaborate with Global Communications, Channel Marketing, and regional teams to create cohesive, high-impact campaigns that align with business objectives.
- Manage the daily publishing calendar, ensuring consistent voice, quality, and compliance across all channels.
- Create and oversee production of social-first content—visual, video, and written—that drives brand awareness and engagement.
- Track and analyze performance metrics, reporting on engagement, growth, and ROI to inform ongoing optimization.
- Partner with design, multimedia, and analytics professionals to bring ideas to life through data-driven storytelling.
- Stay ahead of social media trends, best practices, and platform updates to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Support executive and leadership visibility through tailored content and platform strategy.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 6–10 years of experience in social media, ideally in financial services, asset management, or related sectors.
- Deep understanding of LinkedIn and other professional social media ecosystems.
- Strong editorial sensibility with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, engaging narratives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders across regions and time zones.
- Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sprout, native platform analytics).
- Excellent writing and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven ability to measure, interpret, and present performance data and insights.
- Strong understanding of compliance, brand, and reputational considerations in a regulated industry.
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience supporting C-suite or leadership-level social media strategy and thought leadership.
- Familiarity with paid social media campaigns and performance optimization.
- Background in visual storytelling, video production, or creative direction.
- Comfort working in a matrixed, global organization with senior leaders and investment professionals.

This is the expected annual base salary range for this Boston-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
