TEAM OVERVIEW
KKR's Technology team operates as a strategic partner to the business, driving the tools, platforms, and capabilities that enable KKR's investment professionals and operational teams to work with greater speed, precision, and insight. The AI Product Management function sits within the Technology COO & Product organization and is responsible for defining and delivering KKR's enterprise AI product strategy — from foundational platform infrastructure to applied AI experiences that create measurable business value.
POSITION SUMMARY
KKR is looking for an AI Product Manager to join our Technology team in Gurugram. This role serves as KKR's AI product lead for the APAC region, responsible for driving AI adoption, translating the firm's AI value proposition into regionally relevant use cases, and building the foundation for a product-led AI culture across KKR's APAC offices.
Reporting into the Head of AI Product Management and working in close partnership with the Head of Technology Strategy and Applied AI, this role is uniquely positioned at the intersection of product management and regional enablement. The role will work closely with the AI engineering team in Gurugram to deliver AI platform capabilities. The role will also partner with Applied AI and Technology Strategy teams to take AI use cases and pilots developed at the global level — spanning KKR's core business verticals of private equity, infrastructure, real estate, and credit — and adapt those into APAC-specific applications that reflect the region's distinct workflows, market context, and stakeholder needs.
We are operating in a 4-day in office, 1-day flexible work arrangement.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as the primary AI product lead for the APAC region, acting as the local face of KKR's AI product and strategy function for regional business and technology stakeholders.
• Partner with the Head of Technology Strategy and Applied AI to translate KKR's firmwide AI value proposition into a regionally relevant roadmap, ensuring APAC priorities are well-represented in the global product strategy.
• Work closely with Applied AI teams to identify and evaluate high-value AI use cases across private equity, infrastructure, and real estate workflows, then engage APAC-based cross-functional stakeholders to develop these into region-specific examples, pilots, and deployable AI workflows.
• Drive regional AI adoption by leading hands-on AI training sessions and enablement programs for APAC teams, equipping investment professionals and operational staff with the knowledge and tools to integrate AI into their day-to-day workflows.
• Serve as a trusted regional partner for change management, gathering on-the-ground feedback from APAC users and feeding insights back into the global product and engineering roadmap.
• Define and track regional adoption metrics and use case delivery milestones, communicating progress clearly to senior stakeholders across Technology and the business.
• Apply strong product management fundamentals — structured problem decomposition, requirements writing, roadmap management, and cross-functional communication — to ensure that regionally identified use cases move efficiently from concept to delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 12+ years of experience across product management, applied AI, management consulting, or a combination of these disciplines — with a track record of delivering value in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Demonstrated experience engaging senior stakeholders and translating business needs into structured product requirements or technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise AI concepts — including large language models, automation, and data-driven decision-making — with the ability to communicate these clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Experience working across private equity, infrastructure, real estate, or broader financial services — with the ability to rapidly develop domain expertise in new areas.
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with comfort leading workshops, training sessions, and executive presentations.
• Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy while remaining tightly aligned to global strategy and priorities.
• Willingness and ability to travel across the APAC region as required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Hands-on experience building, deploying, or product-managing AI or machine learning solutions in an enterprise setting.
• Prior experience in a regional or market-facing product, strategy, or enablement role within a global firm.
• Familiarity with AI adoption patterns, change management frameworks, or digital transformation programs.
• Experience working with or across private equity, infrastructure, or real estate asset classes.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent).
