TEAM OVERVIEW
Finance supports the strategic direction of the Firm by ensuring efficient and effective financial planning, analysis, budgeting, reporting, compliance, accounting, and stewardship of financial risks and controls. By doing so, we produce accurate financial information for decision making, ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies, and provide leadership for operational improvements, cost savings and strategic investments that align with the Firm’s culture and long-term goals.

POSITION SUMMARY
Vice President role responsible for financial control and oversight, with a focus on all aspects of fund accounting and financial reporting across KKR’s Real Assets portfolios, including Real Estate and Infrastructure.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for key activities related to fund accounting and management of the funds from a controllership perspective – such as overseeing and reviewing fund accounting deliverables from external fund administrators including but not limited to: valuations, performance, management fee and carried interest calculations, investor capital balances and financial statements associated with the funds’ reporting close periods.
• Help manage local (Gurugram) fund controllership team members and oversee their work product
• Help perform and oversee all aspects of the funds’ day-to-day financial operations for internally administered funds, including investor activity, investment activity, cash management, NAV closing, and internal and external reporting, regulatory requirements
• Manage capital calls and distributions, including cash carry calculations, across the portfolio
• Manage usage of revolving credit facilities for certain funds, including corresponding with lenders, compliance and quarterly reporting
• Manage fund commitments, including quarterly reporting on remaining commitments
• Oversee quarterly management fee calculations and transaction fee allocations
• Review transactions in Investran including cash, new investments, sales, capital calls, distributions, etc.
• Review monthly and quarterly account analyses and reconciliations
• Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements
• Assist with annual external audits for Private Funds
• Expert knowledge of US GAAP for investment companies (ASC 946), including fair value accounting, capital account reporting, and carried interest calculations
• Collaborate and partner with other internal KKR teams such as Product Management, Client Services, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Treasury, Tax, Technology, etc. to effectively carry out fund management and operational activities around investor onboarding/servicing, liquidity management (cash and credit), lender compliance, hedging activities, regulatory and compliance reporting/filings.
• Liaise with both internal and external counsel on fund LPAs as well as fund and deal structures
• Responsible for managing key terms of funds
• Assist Client Services Team with LP requests
• Drive accounting, reporting and business process simplification and efficiency initiatives
• Create/maintain carried interest models and work with KKR IT to develop in Investran and/or work with external fund administrators to implement
• Manage bi-annual portfolio company ownership confirmation process
• Prepare ad hoc reports, as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
• 10+ years of experience in private fund and partnership accounting
• CA qualification required; Accounting degree and/or CPA preferred
• Be committed to operating as a team-player on the team as well as in the context of the larger firm.
• Exceptionally strong financial and analytical capabilities, with the ability to work with complex datasets while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
• Strong finance business acumen, with the ability to quickly understand complex businesses and operating models
• Experience in financial control, financial reporting, and legal entity reporting
• Prior private equity fund administration or audit experience, a plus
• Experience working within a financial services environment or comparable corporate environment
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word; experience with Investran and PowerBI a plus
• Experience using AI Large Language Models and other AI (or automation) tools a plus
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and complete multiple deliverables on time with minimal direction in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships and partner effectively across Finance, Technology, Operations, Business, Tax, and Legal
