Conduct research and development (R&D) tax credit consulting and project management. Manage R&D tax credit studies and related activities. Develop and sustain excellent client relationships, including accounting method assessments, during delivery of R&D tax credit services. Assist in new business development, including add-on business. Help other R&D tax credit project managers with the delivery of engagements as needed, including tax research, and writing with regard to technical issues. Provide R&D tax credit quality assurance, engagement reviewer and exam support.
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Conducting and managing R&D tax credit consulting projects in a large accounting firm, corporation, or a law firm; Utilizing Java, C++, and SQL; Utilizing cloud computing including AWS and Azure; and Developing and implementing data analyses to optimize statistical efficiency and quality to identify tax credit opportunities.
Travel to various locations throughout the U.S. up to 10% is required.
