KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Extended Warehouse Management in Enterprise Solutions for our Consulting practice.
- Act as a SAP solution architect accountable for the design and implementation of SAP S/4 HANA capabilities specific to Extended Warehouse Management (eWM) and Logistics Execution functions
- Plan and execute the day-to-day activities of the SAP eWM function, including managing KPMG and client personnel throughout the full lifecycle of an implementation while leveraging leading-practice business process knowledge and proficiency for eWM and applying the client's business requirements
- Design and configure SAP S4/HANA eWM functionality and provide guidance to offshore teams for any required development related to the eWM functions
- Support business development activities such as opportunity identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities at clients while working with the appropriate KPMG resources from other service lines, service networks, or industries
- Contribute thought leadership to the development and evolution of our KPMG SAP implementation methodologies and intellectual capital by writing whitepapers or performing research in support of SAP eWM capabilities
- Manage and provide leadership to teams of staff level professionals and become actively involved in staff development and practice management
- Minimum eight years of recent SAP experience with at least four years focused on SAP S/4 HANA, including at least three full lifecycle SAP implementations in the areas of extended warehouse management and integration with materials management, production, and sales and distribution; prior consulting experience with a Big Four accounting firm preferred; experience in supporting pre-sales activities preferred
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an appropriate field
- Expertise in the following SAP eWM processes: stock put away and picking strategies, handling unit management, WM staging, warehouse capacity, cross-docking process, slotting, kitting, returns management, yard management, integration with SD, MM and PP, integration with RF, and experience with SAP eWM best practices; proven implementation experience with SAP Greenfield and Selective Data Transition approaches
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to create and sustain meaningful client relationships
- Strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to communicate findings and recommendations to the client's management team
- Excellent SAP configuration skills along with SAP Activate experience
- Travel may be up to 75%
